Sasse

Martin L. Sasse, 89, of Cabot passed away on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born May 26, 1933, in Butler, he was the son of the late Victor A. Sasse and Clara Craig Sasse.

Martin was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was inducted into the Butler County Sports Hall of Fame.

Surviving are his loving children, April L. McGuire, Jodi R. Broz, Martin M. Sasse and Rocky K. Sasse; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and his brother, Ronald E. Sasse.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Donna J. Sasse, whom he married Dec. 2, 1952, and who passed away on Jan. 1, 2023; son, Brady L. Sasse; and siblings, Victor A. Sasse, Donald C. Sasse, Kenneth E. Sasse, Lois Cookson, Esther Raith, Betty Lefever, Iradell Shuler and Victoria Sasse.
