Margaret L. “Marge” Fisher, 94, of Grove City, passed peacefully on Friday morning, Jan. 20, 2023, following a brief illness.

Marge was born in Butler on Nov. 29, 1928, to Cecil and Margaret (Adams) Shook.

She married Carl L. Fisher on Oct. 8, 1947. He preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 1984.

She was of the Protestant faith and was a homemaker.

Marge enjoyed landscaping, working with her flowers, and doing crafts and puzzles.

She is survived by three children, Carl L. Fisher Jr. of North Carolina, Kathy M. Saylor and her husband, Rod, of Grove City, and Larry L. Fisher of Butler; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Velma Shook; three brothers, Carl Shook and his wife, Lou, Dale Shook and his wife, Mary, and Dennis Shook and his wife, Mary Ann; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Shook.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter-in-law, Erica F. Fisher; four sisters, infant Shirley Shook, Doris Pearce, Dolly Shook and Betty Elliot; and five brothers, infant Raymond, Cecil, Donald, Albert “Bob” and Melvin “Cookin” Shook.

FISHER — A private funeral service for Margaret L. “Marge” Fisher, who died Friday, Jan. 20, 2023, will be held Tuesday morning at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City, with the Rev. Matthew Bupp officiating.

Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park.
