6-week Health Rhythm course offered
The Brain Health and Well-Being Laboratory at Slippery Rock University is offering a six-week Health Rhythm course from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. Wednesdays beginning Jan. 25 at 150 N. Main St.
This free series is designed especially for people who have experience with mental illness.
Dr. Jennifer Willford, laboratory director, has been working to use recreational music making and expressive arts programs to improve health and well being by reducing stress, enhancing social connections and promoting positive emotions. No musical experience is necessary. Refreshments will be provided.
