Richard Frank Busa, 81, of Cranberry Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 6, 2023.

Born July 11, 1941, he was the son of the late Frank T. and Anne C. (Smiercick) Busa.

He was the beloved husband for 61 years to Gloria (Giamportone) Busa, whom he married on Sept. 9, 1961; loving father of Richard Phillip, Michael Frank (Laura) Busa and Dominic John (Lauren) Busa; grandfather of Michael Phillip (Haley) Busa, Eric Richard (Lauren) Busa, Serafina Marie, and Amarianna Rose; and the brother of Jim (Wilma), Frank Busa and Anne Marie (Rick) Materewicz.

BUSA — Family and friends of Richard Frank Busa, who died Friday, Jan. 6, 2023, are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Divine Grace Parish, St. Ferdinand Church, with the Rev. Jim Wehner officiating.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Pittsburgh.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Richard’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or the Salvation Army.
