Doutt

Esther G. Doutt, 83, of Butler, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, at Concordia at Cabot.

She was born May 20, 1939, in Butler, the daughter of the late Earl C. Geibel and Vera E. (Davis) Geibel. Esther had been a driver for PA Dept. of Agriculture and Butler Rural Transit. She ran the concession stand at Pullman Park for more than 20 years, and she organized casino trips through Esther's Tours.

Surviving are her son, Richard "Dick" (Andrea) Doutt of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; her daughter, Connie (Lenny) King of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two granddaughters, Heather (Bobby) Losek of Knoxville, Tenn., and Rachel Doutt of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; great-granddaughter, Remi Losek; and her two cats, Sassy and Simba.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Doutt, who died on March 5, 2019; and a son, James Ralph Doutt.

The family sends a special thank you to the staff at Miller Hall at Concordia and to her cousin, Karen Thompson, and friend, Jesse Riddile.

DOUTT — Friends of Esther G. Doutt, who died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, will be received from 2 p.m. until time of blessing service at 4 p.m. Tuesday at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.

Private interment will be in the Butler County Memorial Park.
