The South Butler Community Library, 240 W. Main St., Saxonburg, will offer a showing of “The Cowboy,” which is a 2023 PBS Iconic America series movie at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15.

The movie was made possible through a partnership with and grant from PBS.

“The Cowboy” explores the impact of American cowboys on society.

A discussion on the symbolism of the American cowboy and their role as an icon impacts our culture and values.

Those who attend also will enjoy a chuckwagon lunch.
