Armstrong to begin work in Seven Fields
Armstrong has notified Seven Fields residents an improvement project will begin in the borough Dec. 4.
A letter to residents called it “the largest network upgrade in company history,” replacing the provider’s current cable infrastructure with fiber-optic cable.
“This is the first phase of our project,” the letter read. “The majority of our work will be in the road right of way and will include work at our pedestal locations. Pedestals are the green metal boxes located in front of your home.”
Residents were notified the “first sign of activity” will be flags identifying utilities in the rights of way.
Questions can be directed to crews on-site or by contacting the project’s construction hotline at (724) 473-0592.
