Beloved ex-Pirate to return

Pittsburgh media outlets are reporting that Andrew McCutchen is returning to the Steel City.
Reports said the Pittsburgh Pirates have signed “Cutch” to a one-year contract.
McCutchen must pass a physical before the contract becomes official.
McCutchen last donned the black and gold uniform in 2017.
Since then, he has played for the San Francisco Giants, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies and the Milwaukee Brewers.
McCutchen batted 279 in his last year with the Pirates.
He batted 237 in 2022.
