George A. Deitz, 74, of Bradys Bend, died Monday, Dec. 26, 2022, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born May 22, 1948, he was the son of Ella M. Crawford.

A Vietnam veteran, George was a member of the American Legion Post 488, where he once was a bartender.

He is survived by two children, Stormie Dietz of Adrian, Pa., and George Deitz Jr. of Emporium, Pa.

He is also survived by his friend and caregiver, Jeff (Tina) Earley; two special nephews, John Deitz and Jim Mortimer; and a large extended family.

George was preceded in death by his mother; his companion, Pamela Bellas and her son, Steven Bellas; one sister, Kathryn Foringer; and two brothers, Clarence and John Deitz.

DEITZ — Friends of George A. Deitz, who died Monday, Dec. 26, 2022, will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2022, at BUECHELE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 707 Kellys Way, East Brady.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Paul DeBacco officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Legion Post 488, 975 PA-68, East Brady, PA 16028.
