After sitting vacant for years, the former American Legion post in Lyndora has been demolished.
The Butler Township Commissioners condemned the building, which is on Bessemer Avenue, years ago. It was a two-story red brick building that sat on a slight hill in Lyndora.
Lyndora has a new American Legion, which is at 150 Legion Memorial Lane, which is open for events and gatherings.
