Carol DeMayo, 80, of West Sunbury, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 25, 2022.

She was born in Butler on Nov. 3, 1942, and was the daughter of the late Guido and JoAnn (Pape) Malvarose.

After Carol graduated from Butler High School, she worked for Mellon Bank as an officer, retiring after 45 years. Carol was known for being hardworking, very loving, and an amazing mother, as she was a full-time caregiver for her daughter.

She was the beloved wife of Michael DeMayo, since their marriage in 1964; mother of Michael and Angela DeMayo; sister of Alice Peters, and the late Phillip Malvarose; and the cousin of John Pape.

DEMAYO — Family and friends of Carol DeMayo, who died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2022, will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A blessing service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
