Kirk

Ann C. Kirk, 87, of Renfrew, passed away Tuesday morning, Dec. 27, 2022, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born Nov. 26, 1935, in Butler, and was a daughter of the late Mark R. Weser and Nellie (Johnston) Weser.

Ann was a 1953 graduate of Butler High School, and a 1956 graduate of the Butler Hospital School of Nursing.

She was a nurse at Butler Memorial Hospital, retiring after 20 years.

She was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Peter Roman Catholic Church and the Butler Hospital School of Nursing Alumni.

She enjoyed reading, traveling and going out to eat.

Surviving is her daughter, Debra Kirk of Center Township; one son, Mark Kirk of Butler Township; three grandchildren, Jeremy (Andrea) Enslen of Uniontown, Nicole (Bruce) Hunt of Butler, and Kelly (Justin Terhune) Kirk of Butler; and four great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Jakeob, Miles and Alivia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry C. Kirk, whom she married Dec. 30, 1957, and who passed away Sept. 25, 2010; her daughter, Carolyn Enslen; one brother; and three sisters.

KIRK — A Mass of Christian burial for Ann C. Kirk, who died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler.

Interment will be in St. Peter’s Parish Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
