Traffic rerouted after Chevy Malibu overturns

A Chevy Malibu overturned on Center Avenue in Butler on Monday afternoon, but its two occupants were not severely injured in the crash.
Butler firefighters said one occupant, a young male, had some cuts as a result of the crash and was evaluated by Butler Ambulance staff at the scene. Firefighters rerouted traffic from Center Avenue to Donaghy Avenue and Standard Avenue while a tow truck righted the vehicle.
The Chevy Malibu was the only vehicle involved in the crash. Firefighters said the car sustained considerable damage in the overturning.
Butler police also responded to the scene; the call came in around 4:45 p.m.
Crews were off the scene by 6 p.m.
