SRU Union renamed

The Slippery Rock University Union will begin undergoing renovations costing $18.3 million next year, and will include a name change approved by the university Council of Trustees last week.

The new name for the building will be the Campus Success Center, to reflect its new purpose following the renovations.

When renovation is complete, the building will house the following offices: Disability Services, Financial Aid, Student Support, Mailing Services and Parking.

It also will contain the Student Counseling Center, the Center for Career and Academic Progress, and the Student Health Center, as well as shell spaces for future development.
