Joseph Parison

Joseph E. Parison Sr., 76, of Mars, formerly of Saxonburg, passed away on Friday evening, Dec.16, 2022, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Butler, on Aug. 26, 1946, he was the son of the late John and Anna Puppychuk Parison.

Joe had been a car inspector for the Southern Pacific Railroad.

Surviving are two sons, Joseph Parison Jr. (Jennifer) of Freedom and Thomas Parison (Jennifer) of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Julie Parison of Mars; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Mary Eyth of Houston, Texas and Nancy Eidenback in Nevada; three brothers, John Parison (Helen) of Lordentown, and Mike Parison and Nick Parison, both of Butler; as well as nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Eva Varos, Zora Carrol, Antoinette Fletcher, Diane Eidenback, Sherry Davis and Mildred Varos.

PARISON — Friends of Joseph E. Parison Sr., who died Friday, Dec. 16, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Services will follow at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Jeff Lawther officiating.

Entombment will be in the mausoleum at Our Lady of Hope Mausoleum in Tarentum.
