Virginia Nosse
Virginia Nosse, 79, of Butler, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022.
She was born on Nov. 10, 1943, in Pittsburgh, and was the daughter of the late Walter and Eleanor (Rose) Moran.
Virginia graduated from Butler High School, starting her career at ServiStar, and then worked as a teller at National City bank.
Virginia was a member of the very first sequinettes dance team at Butler High School. She was known for her sense of humor, big heart and being a great friend. She loved the beach and her family, and was loved by all who knew her. Virginia will be forever missed.
Virginia was married to the late Col. Francis Nosse for 39 years.
She was the loving mother of Dayna and Bradley (Lindsay) Nosse.
Virginia also left behind her grandson, Roland.
She is also survived by her siblings, Kathy Meissner, Miriam Clark, Timothy Moran, John Moran, Richard Moran, Elizabeth Ann McGrady, Mary Therese Peterson and Terrence Moran, along with their spouses; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Virginia was preceded in death by a sister, Rita Romano; and her brother, Michael Moran.
NOSSE — Family and friends of Virginia Nosse, who died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, 2022, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
A funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
Burial will be held privately.
