McKain

James McKain, 71, of Butler, passed away on Dec. 12, 2022, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 7, 1951, in Butler, and was the son of the late Joseph Henry McKain and the late Leola (Tirk) McKain.

James worked in air conditioning and refrigeration installation and repair.

He loved his black labs, Pepper and Pete, and his family.

He is survived by his sister, Judy Flick; his brother-in-law, Donald Flick; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and one aunt, Patricia Hackett.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alice J. Tirk and Clarence W. Tirk, who raised him; one brother, Joseph H. McKain II; and one sister, Janice E. Ross.

MCKAIN — Per his wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral services for James McKain, who died Monday, Dec. 12, 2022.
