Pearl Beach

Beach

Pearl E. Beach, 88, of Saxonburg, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022, at Vincentian Home surrounded by her children.

Born May 27, 1934, in Hampton Township, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Caroline (Baumgartel) Jennewine. She grew up on the family farm, where she developed a balance of work, faith and family.

Following graduation from high school, she was employed as a secretary at Alcoa in Pittsburgh. She participated in the Melodiers community choir and enjoyed square dancing, art and music.

She married Allen Beach on Oct. 15, 1955, and they built a home near Saxonburg, where together they raised their three children. She showed her devotion to home and family by supporting the children in their school activities and instilling Christian values. Her interests included baking, sewing and gardening.

Her faith was a very prominent aspect of her life. Allen and Pearl were founding members of West Deer Bible Church in Gibsonia. She was actively involved in the many programs of the church, including teaching children’s Sunday school and vacation Bible school, singing in the choir and participating in women’s Bible studies.

Pearl is survived by her children, Phyllis Oesterling of Waterloo, Iowa, Karen (Doug) Allerton of Allison Park and Bradley Beach of Saxonburg; her grandchildren, Cherith (Matt Keierleber), Chelsea (Chris) Smith, Caleb Oesterling, Geoffrey Allerton and Daniel Allerton; and her great-grandchildren, Adeline and Camden Keierleber, and Maverick Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her brother, Charles Jennewine; and her son-in-law, Richard Oesterling.
