Ace Hardware donates to Children’s Hospital
The Ace Hardware store in Butler Township is in ninth place nationwide in a race for most funds donated to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh through Children’s Miracle Network.
The store has raised $32,368.15 as of Nov. 30.
A news release said if the local store can stay in the top 10 by year’s end, Duracell will donate an additional $10,000 to the hospital.
The majority of fundraising is done through customers rounding up their totals at the register. Businesses such as Cumming’s Candy & Coffee, All About Reclaimed and others have supported Ace Hardware’s efforts.
