Nancy Lee Fisher, 83, of Blawnox, was called home by her Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022.

She grew up in the Mars Home for Children and graduated from Mars High School. During her past 36 years residing at the high rise in Blawnox, she enjoyed playing Nickles, running the football pool and managing the Senior Boxes for the building. Nancy also served on the building council. She was an active member of the Hoboken Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the choir. She most enjoyed being with her family and spending time with many of her friends at the high rise.

Nancy is survived by her loving family, which include her nephew, Jeff Fisher; and nieces, Linda Deiss, Marlane Westerman, Nancy Hanson, Kathy Chestner and Audrey Alexander; and many grand-nieces and nephews. Her family especially thanks her caregivers for their kindness and support throughout the years.

FISHER — Friends and family of Nancy Lee Fisher, who died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022, will be received from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022, at THOMAS M. SMITH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 930 Center Ave., Pittsburgh (Blawnox).

A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2022, at the Hoboken Presbyterian Church; 921 North Ave., Blawnox. Everyone please meet at the church.
