John "Jack" Humphries, 78, of Wexford, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2022, in UPMC Passavant McCandless after a brief illness.

He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 5, 1944. Jack had a love for older music and the "oldies." He also enjoyed AM radio and actually ran an AM radio show out of his home for numerous years. John was passionate about his friends and was always trying to make people smile. He loved to offer advice to anyone in need and was great at giving emotional support to those around him. He was loved by all who knew him and will forever be missed.

HUMPHRIES — Friends and family of John "Jack" Humphries, who died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2022, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2022, at SPENCER D GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.

Burial will be held privately.
