IN MEMORIAM

In loving memory of Caitlyn Marie Kaufman who passed away December 3, 2020.

Hi Caitlyn,

So here we are our second anniversary of MISSING YOU! How quickly the time has gone, but at the same time, so slowly. It still seems so surreal, that you are physically gone, but I see you and hear you EVERYWHERE! You give each of us signs that you are with us, especially me, your dad, and Tyler and Alysa. Let us not forget about Zeus, Mav, and Mia. When they start barking at NOTHING, I laugh a little, because I know it’s YOU tormenting them, letting us know you are still with us!

It goes without saying, how much you are LOVED and MISSED by SO MANY people! I still receive notes, cards, and gifts from complete strangers who reside in Nashville. We still receive cards and text messages from family and friends checking on all of us!

Since your passing, YOU have taught me to NEVER take for granted the gifts I’ve been given from above. I’ve learned so much from missing you so badly. I feel the pain of others, I suppose I always have to some degree, but now, that pain has become real to me. I know the TRUE meaning of LOVE and HEARTBREAK.

I take solace in knowing you knew/know how much you were/are loved. I’m thankful for the “adult” conversations we shared. They are truly treasured memories!

December 3, 2022, marks the 730th day without you and that day is a VERY sad day for all of us left behind. I know and believe you are happier than you have ever been. You are with so many of our family members, GMA, Grandpa John, PAP, Grandma Betty, and Gram Melinda and so many others. I know you are busy in Heaven, and I know you are doing AMAZING things there. Always asking how you can help because you always did!

In closing, Caitlyn, just know YOUR LIFE MATTERED HERE ON EARTH AND IT CONTINUES TO MATTER EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE GONE!!! YOU WERE EXTRAORDINARY ON SO MANY LEVELS YET SO GROUNDED AND REAL!!! Qualities you don’t often find in people these days!

THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME THE PLEASURE TO BE YOUR MOM! My job as your mom and Tyler’s mom has been my most rewarding!!!

I, WE, ALL LOVE AND MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!

Mom, Dad, Tyler, Alysa

Mav, Mia, and Zeus
