The GFWC Intermediate League of Butler will kick off the holiday season Monday, Dec. 5, at Christ Community Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road.

Social time will begin at 5:30 p.m. with dinner starting at 6 p.m. Members will celebrate International Night with a raffle of 23 Christmas gifts with the proceeds to benefit UNICEF.

A short business meeting will follow dinner. Members are encouraged to use cash for the UNICEF raffle and take old cellphones for Secure the Call, an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that collects donated cellphones and redistributes them as emergency phones to senior citizens and others facing domestic violence.
