J and J Farms, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal sanctuary at 939 Ekastown Road, Saxonburg, will have a free open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3.

Individuals, children and families will have the opportunity to mingle with the residents: meeting, feeding and even choosing an outfit for and having photos taken with their favorite animals. There will be a basket raffle, the boutique will be open and the barn will be decorated for the season.

Donations for Feline Den Rescue will be collected that day, so visitors are asked to consider taking dry or wet food, kitty litter or other supplies for cats.
