Local author talk and book signing at Butler Library
Local author Janet Gall Piper, writing as Juliette Godot, will have a book talk and signing of “From the Drop of Heaven,” her novel of historical fiction, at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, at the Butler Area Public Library, 218 N. McKean St.
The description of the book says: A quest to find her roots led Godot down the back roads of France to the unsung principality of Salm, where superstitions were part of everyday life.
