Mike Trugan, 98, of Middlesex Township, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022.

He was born March 7, 1924, in Madera, Clearfield County, and was the son of the late George and Susan Trugan.

He attended and graduated from Bigler High School.

After graduation, he joined the U.S. Army/Air Force and became a gunner in a B-17. He flew 17 successful missions over Germany in World War II and was honorably discharged.

Mike loved the outdoors, but his passion was golf, which he played until the age of 96. He shared this with his son, grandson and golf league every Thursday night. He also passed his love of hunting on to his son and both grandchildren, and they spent countless hours together making memories, riding dirt bikes and quads.
