Linda J. Scott, 74, of Sarver, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022, at Quality Life Services in Sarver surrounded by her family.

Born in Pittsburgh on June 10, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy Robinson and William Greer.

Linda was a member of Cabot United Methodist Church in Cabot.

Linda retired from Moonlight Mushrooms in 1995 after 21 years of service. Later, Linda retired from Mars Area School District in 2013, where she had worked as a custodian.

Linda enjoyed feeding her birds and squirrels. She had a pet cat that her daughter cared for, and she grew beautiful flowers. Linda could also make the best chocolate cake. Most of all, Linda lived for her family. She loved spending all her moments with them.

Surviving are her son, George E. Scott Jr. (Paula) of Cabot, and Helen Comperatore (Corey) of Sarver; and her grandchildren, Allyson Comperatore of Butler, Kaylee Comperatore of Sarver, Reese Scott of Cabot, and Rodney Scott of Cabot.

In addition to two sisters, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, George whom she was patiently waiting to reunite with.

Our family would like to express our gratitude and heartfelt thanks to the employees of Quality Life Services in Sarver. The love and care they gave to our mother was truly amazing, and we are forever grateful.
