Alexander Sanguigni Sr.
Alexander D. “Skip” Sanguigni Sr., 90, of Valencia, originally from the North Side of Pittsburgh, passed away Nov. 20, 2022.
He was the loving husband of the late Mary Shumaker Sanguigni.
He was the beloved father of Alexander (Stephanie), Robert (Kelly), Kevin (Karen), Bridget (Jerry), Dawn, Matthew (Keri), and Debi (Chris); and the devoted grandfather of the late Michael, and Kaitlyn, Amanda, Elana, Kevin, Ryan, Maura, Margaret, Caroline, Nolan, Caley, Macy, Riley, Alexis, Elizabeth, Lauren, Gabby and Liam.
He is survived by his sisters, Anna, Phyllis and Camille.
Skip served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He worked in his family’s businesses, as well as his own businesses throughout his career.
He coached football for many years, and enjoyed spending time at Conneaut Lake in his later years. Most of all, he loved spending his time with his family.
SANGUIGNI — Family and friends of Alexander D. “Skip” Sanguigni Sr., who died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022, are welcome from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022, at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Divine Grace Parish, St. Ferdinand Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township, with the Rev. Jim Wehner officiating.
Interment will follow at Pinewood Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society (Cranberry Relay for Life, Team M&M).
