Boddy

Joan (Geisendorfer) Boddy, 86, of Cranberry Township, passed away Friday, Nov. 11, 2022.

She was born June 8, 1936, in Berkeley, Calif., and was the daughter of the late Henry Albert and Julia (Culp) Geisendorfer Jr.

On Jun. 29, 1963, she was united in marriage to John Edward Boddy, the love of her life, who preceded her in death in 2015.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Christopher Boddy; and her brother, Henry Albert Geisendorfer III.

She will be missed by her son, Bradley, and his wife, Susan; her grandchildren, Megan and Jason Boddy; and several nieces and nephews, and relatives and friends.

BODDY — Family and friends of Joan (Geisendorfer) Boddy, who died Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, are welcome from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022, at Dutilh United Methodist Church, 1270 Dutilh Road, Cranberry Township, where a memorial service will be held at 3 p.m.

The memorial service will be followed by a light dinner.

Professional arrangements have been entrusted to DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Joan’s name to the American Parkinson Disease Association.
