Vicenta Nicholson
Vicenta “Vicki” Del Prado Nicholson, 74, of Cranberry Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022.
Born Aug. 25, 1948, in the Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Catalan and Natividad Tindugan.
Vicki was faithfully devoted to prayer and to the rosary. She was a current member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church-Divine Grace Parish in Cranberry Township, where she belonged to the Women Gathered Prayer Group. She was a former member of both Christ the Redeemer R.C. Church in Sterling, Va., and St. Bede Catholic Church in Williamsburg, Va., where she participated in the Legion of Mary, Fil-Am Ministry, and a variety of prayer groups.
Vicki lived a life of service to anyone and everyone who needed help. She gave of herself and her time to others, making her a trusted and loyal confidante to many. Throughout her life, she worked in a variety of food service supervisory positions, which drew on both her skill and passion. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking and above all, cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.
Vicki will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Charles R. Harris (Mary) of Rostraver Township, Eileen M. Newara (Charles) of Cranberry Township, Robert D. Harris of Ohio, and Michael P. Harris (Tara) of New Hampshire; her grandchildren, Mark, Michelle (Seth), Matthew, Peter, Daniella, Justin, Madison, Landon and Kensley; her great-grandchildren, Liliana and Jackson; her siblings, Regina, Aurelia, Josie, Nilo and Victoria; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Vicki was preceded in death by her siblings, Valentine, Lucina and Daniella.
NICHOLSON — Friends of Vicenta “Vicki” Del Prado Nicholson, who died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church-Divine Grace Parish, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.
