Anna "Martha" Mager, 86, of Butler, peacefully passed on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, at Concordia at Cabot.

She was born Jan. 5, 1936, in Rimersburg, where she lived for 16 years before the family moved to Butler. She is the daughter of the late Clarence Williams and Mabel (Detweiler) Williams.

Martha was a member of Hill United Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of Butler High School. She retired from Kmart after 35 years, then worked for 10 years as a cook at Butler Junior High School. She enjoyed doing ceramics, baking cookies, traveling and camping in the early years of her marriage.

Surviving are her daughter, Joyce (Ed) Augustine of Butler; a son, Charles (Joyce) Mager of Chicora; grandchildren, Erika (Chris) McCullough, Eddie and Tunch Augustine and Neil Watt; great grandchildren, Kaylee and Trevor Watt and David Dunmire; and her nieces, Debbie Lewis, Sheila Kunselman and Karen Maley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Mager; a son, John Mager; two sisters; and three brothers.

MAGER — Friends of Anna “Martha” Mager, who died Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, will be received from 3 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.

Private interment will be in North Side Cemetery.
