Melanie Durish
Melanie Petrosky Durish, 50, of Butler, passed away on Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, at her home.
Born Feb. 24, 1972, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of David P. Petrosky and Nina Garcia Petrosky.
Melanie worked as an administrative assistant for Allegheny Lawn & Golf, Pitt-Auto, Krigger and Company and Stephenson Equipment. She also worked at McDonald’s and Kmart. She was a co-founder of Steel Town Paranormal. She also owned Berry Blue Boutique.
Melanie enjoyed paranormal investigations, crafting and travel.
Surviving are her loving husband, Christopher Durish, whom she married June 1, 1996; her parents, David and Nina Petrosky of Saxonburg; and her brother, Mark (Cathie) Petrosky of Saxonburg.
She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, James and Rose Petrosky and Louis and Elvie Garcia; and her aunt, Linda Doughty.

DURISH — Friends of Melanie Petrosky Durish, who died Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mike Galica of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Saxonburg, officiating.
Interment will follow at Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
