Kathy A. Murray, 63, of Valencia, formerly of Allison Park and Gibsonia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022, with her family by her side.

She was born in Brookville, Pa., on April 11, 1959, and was the daughter of the late Richard and Helen (Osborne) Rowan.

She graduated from Brookville High School in 1977 and Grove City College in 1981.

After graduation, she worked as an accountant for many years, both self-employed and for Thar Process and related entities.

She enjoyed being active and outdoors in God’s creation. Some of her favorite activities included horseback riding, hiking, running and riding her mountain bike.

Above all, she was a loving, selfless and devoted mother and grandmother.

Kathy is survived by her children, Seth (Lindsay) Murray of Cranberry Township, and Ben Murray of Mars, Kelsie (Kendrick) Bruton of Buffalo, N.Y.; and her grandchildren, Owen Murray, Olivia Murray, Marlowe Murray, Malin Murray, Kendrick Bruton and Karter Bruton.

In addition, Kathy is survived by her siblings, Tim (Linda) Rowan and Darlene (Tom) Johnston.

MURRAY — Family and friends of Kathy A. Murray, who died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022, are welcome from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.
