Elder

Kathi E. Elder, 64, of Butler passed away on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022, at UPMC Presbyterian.

Born May 25, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Crider and Shirley Crider.

Kathi worked as a youth housing coordinator for the Lighthouse Foundation for 12 years. She was a member of Thorn Creek United Methodist Church, where she was an active member of the Sisters in Christ group.

Surviving are her loving husband, Bernard L. Elder, whom she married Oct. 9, 1982; her children, Kyle Elder of Butler, Chad Elder of Saxonburg, and Nicole Mccune of Slippery Rock; and two grandchildren, Cassidy and Colin McCune.

ELDER — A memorial service for Kathi E. Elder, who died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, at Thorn Creek United Methodist Church with lunch served immediately after.

Memorial donations may be made to the Sisters in Christ of Thorn Creek United Methodist Church.
