Diana K. Scott, 87, of Gibsonia and Sanibel, Fla., passed away on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022, in Estero, Fla.

She was born in Pittsburgh on Dec. 20, 1934, and was the daughter of Dr. Adolphus and Sarah Dennison Koenig.

Diana is survived by her husband of 71 years, William E. Scott Jr.; her daughter, Diana J. Scott and her husband, Gregory J. Jonas, of Wolfeboro, N.H.; her sons, David K. Scott of Estero, Fla., and Richard A. Scott of Murrysville; her grandchildren, Sean D. Scott of Fort Myers, Fla., Christopher W. Scott of Gibsonia, Alexander R. Scott of Penn Hills, and Tyler J. Scott of Gibsonia; her sister, Sarah K. Feldner of Butler; and her brother, A. Eugene Koenig and his wife, Charlotte, of Mars and Peoria, Ariz.

Diana was preceded in death by her son, Robert W. Scott; and her sister, Beatrice K. Moore.

Diana was the financial and operations officer for William Scott Builder Inc., and was active in her church and community. For many years, Diana served on the board of Ingomar United Methodist Church and the Western Pennsylvania Conference of the United Methodist Church, the Ford Consumer Board, the board of North Hills Passavant Hospital, the board of the North Hills YMCA, and she co-chaired KDKA’s Call for Action.

She loved a good party, and was passionate about her family.

SCOTT — Friends and family of Diana K. Scott, who died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Ingomar United Methodist Church, 1501 W. Ingomar Road, Pittsburgh.

Burial will be in Allegheny County Memorial Park in McCandless Township.
