Each year during American Education Week, senior class officers begin the process of selecting a graduate of Butler Senior High School to receive the Distinguished Graduate Award.

To nominate a past graduate who has achieved something outstanding in his or her chosen profession or has made contributions to the community, state, or nation, obtain a nomination form from the district website or senior high website (under Quick Links). Or visit any school office to make a nomination for this distinguished award.

The deadline for nominations is April 1, 2023. The recipient is announced each year at commencement.
