A southern gospel quartet, the Guardians, will play a concert at First Baptist Church Saturday, Nov. 5.

The quartet is described as having a unique sound, tight harmonies and a passion for sharing the gospel through music, according to a flier for the concert.

The group has received two Dove award nominations, many Singing News recognition and fan awards.

Doors open for the concert at 1:15 p.m. Nov. 5 at 221 West New Castle Street, and the show is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. The event is free; a love offering will be accepted.
