Connie and Don McElhaney

Don and Connie McElhaney of Fenelton celebrated 70 years of marriage with a family dinner at the home of their son, Ralph McElhaney.

McElhaney married the former Connie McPherson on Oct. 8, 1952.

They have four children, Peggy Kollister of Houston, Texas, Don McElhaney Jr., Ralph McElhaney, and Sue Christy, all of Fenelton.

They have nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

McElhaney retired from Armco in 1992.

Mrs. McElhaney is a retired ceramics teacher and enjoys gardening at her home.

The McElhaneys are members of Community Alliance Church and enjoy their small group prayer and Bible study. They also enjoy following local sports activities, as well as the Pittsburgh teams.
