The Rotary Club of Butler has announced the winners of its “Visions of Community” banner art competition as part of its recent launch of the Butler Cultural District. The competition was conducted in collaboration with the Butler Art Center.

In first place, winning $250, was Lynda Kirby. Tying for second place was Chelsea Grubbs and Alina Glath, who both received prizes of $150. Kevin Cramer came in third place, winning $100.

The $300 People’s Choice award went to Ben Hughes.

Award sponsors included: NexTier Bank, Rotarian Millie Pinkerton, Eisler Farms and People’s Choice sponsor Rotarian Ellen Romett. Banners will be on display on the fence surrounding the Butler Middle School through Veterans Day.
