Kenneth Klein

Kenneth A. Klein, 74, of Slippery Rock, passed away at Butler Memorial Hospital on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022.

Ken was born in Pittsburgh on April 12, 1948, to George E. and Theresa R. (Karakash) Klein.

Ken worked for 30 years as a corrections officer at Butler County Prison.

He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and the NRA.

Surviving are his children, Christopher (Liberty) Klein of Madison, Ohio, Tina (Brian) Keller of Mercer, Yvonne (Eric) Evans of Jacksonville, Fla., and Keith (Danielle) Grossman of Mount Lebanon; and one brother, Kerry Klein of Hastings, Mich.

He will be missed by his nine grandchildren, Deanna, Shawn Luke, Sylvia, Clara, Madison, Connor, Braden, Mason and Mia; and one great-grandson, James.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Carol L. Klein.

KLEIN — Visitation for Kenneth A. Klein, who died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022, will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at noon Friday at Slippery Rock United Methodist Church, 130 Franklin St., Slippery Rock.

A memorial service will be held at noon Friday at the church with the Rev. Brian Keller officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, 144 S. Pitt St., Mercer.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Butler County Dialysis, 111 Woody Drive, Butler, PA 16001.
