Our dear mother, Mary E. Parry, 75, of Gibsonia, sadly passed away on Oct. 5, 2022.

Born in Lima, Ohio, on Feb. 6, 1947, she was the daughter of the late John Paul and Lucille Drerup Ringlein.

She was the beloved wife for 53 years to David J. Parry.

She was the loving mother of Lauren (Brian) Trievel, Alyn (Victoria) Parry and Jennifer (Mark) Polena; sister of Marcia (Robert) Mayer, Judy (Christopher) Ringlein Dunn, Mark (Sara) Ringlein, James (Sue) Ringlein, and the late Jack Ringlein and Janice Clements. She was the dear grandmother of Jessica, Lindsey, David and Abigail.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mary was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Summa Cum Laude, and a certified public librarian, having won awards for her work as a children’s librarian at Richland Township Public Library, now Northern Tier Library. “Miss Mary“ also ran a babysitting course certifying hundreds of kids through the Red Cross. She was a teacher and a baker, and she worked many years with the American Lung Association.

Mary loved the holidays, hosting over 30 at wonderful Thanksgiving dinners, and was the world’s best gift-giver, creating the most extravagant Christmas each year. She also loved watching and acting in musicals, even meeting her husband during a production of “Superman” years ago.

She will be dearly missed.
