Charles E. Getze, 92, of Valencia, passed away on Oct. 6, 2022.

Born on May 19, 1930, in Wilkinsburg, he was the son of the late Andrew and Clara Faith Getze.

He was the husband of Grace E. Stickels Getze; father of Steven (Alayne) Getze and Kenneth (Karen Cammarata) Getze; brother of the late Andrea Getze and Ronald Getze; grandfather of Emilie (Christopher) Koss, Nathan Getze, Stephanie Pelch and Melissa Pelch; and the great-grandfather of Lucas, CJ and Zuri.

Charles was a lab technician for 38 years with Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corporation, and a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown.

He also was a member of the Butler County Symphony Orchestra for over 40 years.
