William C. “Bill” Ruth, 68, of Eau Claire, passed away Oct. 1, 2022, at the Chicora Medical Center.

Bill was born Oct.15, 1953, in Butler. He was the son of the late Charles LaVerne and Eva Jane (Polm) Ruth.

Bill graduated from Moniteau High School in 1971.

He was a retired steelworker.

Bill loved to hang out at the hunting camp with his buddies and cousins. He was skilled at building muzzleloaders and rifles. Bill loved to hunt and shoot. He enjoyed stock car races as well.

Loved ones left to cherish his memory include his extended family, made up of loving cousins and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
