Cardiologist joins Butler Health System heart team
Butler Health System announced the addition of Dr. Avinash Linganna to the BHS Heart Team.
Linganna is a skilled cardiologist with over 16 years of clinical experience specializing in non-invasive cardiology, with a particular interest in cardiac imaging and lifestyle medicine, an evidence-based approach shown to prevent and treat disease.
His goal is to use these methodologies in order to reduce medications, prevent procedures, and improve the quality of life for his patients.
Linganna received his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed an internal medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Presbyterian Hospital, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is board certified in cardiovascular medicine.
Linganna will be accepting patients at the Butler and Ellwood City locations.
