Tarentum woman faces drug sale charges
Butler County Detectives filed felony charges against a Tarentum woman last week after they said they found heroin, crack cocaine and marijuana on her person.
Brittney T. Ellibe, 32, was charged with two felony counts of drug sales and a misdemeanor for possession of marijuana following the incident. She was arraigned Sept. 22 before District Judge Kevin O'Donnell and is being held in Butler County Prison on a $15,000 bond.
According to charging documents, the Butler County Drug Task Force was conducting an investigation of Ellibe and made contact with her near Whitestown Village on Sept. 21.
Police said more than a brick of heroin, 16.7 grams of crack cocaine, 20 grams of marijuana and $632 were found on Ellibe’s person at that time.
A brick of heroin is approximately 50 stamp bags.
Ellibe is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing Oct. 6.
