Hines 60th anniversary
Jesse and Joann Hines of Slippery Rock celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner in the picnic area of the family farm Sept. 4.
Hines married the former Joann Meals on Sept. 15, 1962, at Muddy Creek United Presbyterian Church, Butler.
They have six children, Craig (Laurie) Hines of Atlanta, Ga.; John (April) Hines of Slippery Rock; Darla (Don) Siebka of Slippery Rock.; Jesse (Holly) Hines of Slippery Rock; Diane (Fran) Ventura of Avon, N. C.; and the late Jeff Hines.
They also have 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Hines retired from Halstead Metals, Zelienople, and from delivery of the Tri-County News.
He is a beef cattle farmer.
Mrs. Hines retired after 25 years in food service at Grove City College.
The Hineses are members of Highland Presbyterian Church, Slippery Rock.
