For National Manufacturing Day on Oct. 7, Butler Technologies will host an open house for community members and local schools at its location on 231 West Wayne St. in Butler.

Butler Technologies will open its doors to the public for demonstrations, plant tours and discussions with employees.

“Too many people have the perception that manufacturing is a dirty and boring job, but the vast majority of jobs in manufacturing are in a clean, safe environment,” Tristan Tripodi, president and CEO of Butler Technologies, said. “There are countless career opportunities in manufacturing, such as sales and marketing, engineering, graphic design, demand planning and machine operation positions.”

National Manufacturing Day in an annual event sponsored by the Manufacturing Institute in order to inspire the next generation about the industry and the careers that are offered.

Butler Technologies is a second-generation family business that has grown from a printing brokerage firm, into an innovative printed electronics design firm and manufacturer.
