Project on Rural Ministry hosts conference
The Project on Rural Ministry, an initiative of the Lilly Endowment and Grove City College, is holding its annual conference Saturday, Sept. 10, on the college campus.
The conference examines “The Resilient Local Church” and features a workshop with Brad Roth, pastor of West Zion Mennonite Church, in Moundridge, Kan., along with discussions with Grove City College faculty and leadership about the challenges and opportunities of rural ministry.
Open to the public, the conference is geared toward local clergy and lay leaders. It begins at 9 a.m. Saturday in Rathburn Hall. Registration is available online at ruralministry.org or at the door. There is a $10 fee.
