Cunningham

Dennis J. Cunningham, 71, of Zelienople, passed away on Monday, Sept. 5, 2022, while under the care of Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Sept. 26, 1950, in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late James Cunningham and Kathryn Trimble Cunningham.

Dennis was an avid golfer, and loved to watch movies. He was a member of the American Legion, the Hungarian Club, and a former member of the Zelienople Rotary Club.

Dennis will be remembered as a man who was devoted to and loved his family. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

Dennis leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of nearly 54 years, Judith A. Buczkowski Cunningham, whom he married on Dec. 14, 1968; his children, Michael Cunningham, Shannon (John) Pietrusinski and Alica (Jesse) McQuaid; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kylie, Anna, Jacob, Caleb, Jackson, Margaret and Dylan; his sister, Linda Wahl; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his son, James F. “Jimmy” Cunningham; and his sister, Ellen Fleming.

CUNNINGHAM — Friends of Dennis J. Cunningham, who died Monday, Sept. 5, 2022, will be received from 3 p.m. until the time of the service at 6 p.m. Friday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with Pastor David McQuaid officiating.
