Hilliard

Catherine Jean Hilliard, 51, of Butler, passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2022, at UPMC Passavant in McCandless Township.

She was born Feb. 20, 1971, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Charles Hilliard Sr. and Florence (Grossman) Hilliard of Butler.

Catherine was a 1989 graduate of Butler High School.

She worked at Wexford Healthcare Center.

She was an amazing painter, and loved animals, especially her dog, Chloe.

Surviving are her mother, Florence; her daughter, Melissa Hilliard of Butler; two sisters, Helen (John) Lingenfelter of Butler, and Rebecca (Terry) Williams of North Carolina; her brother, Daniel (Kristen) Hilliard of Butler; a number of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; and her best friend, Kelly Ruby of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her father; and her brother, Charles Hilliard Jr.

HILLIARD — Friends of Catherine Jean Hilliard, who died Monday, Sept. 5, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 p.m. until the time of service at 8 p.m. Sunday at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.

Private burial will be held in the South Cemetery, Butler.
